Shouvik has been involved in local cricket matches at Delhi. He had played a few games but has a very poor record due to mostly lack of practice and playing matches in a while. Below is some more info. He had his hands somewhat on chess and karate too.

Cricket

New Delhi, India

Shouvik is passionate about cricket and has played few games from September 2021 till January 2026. He is having a very poor record and that is due to playing very few matches in the time period and thus having very low match practice. Directly going to ground and perform is a difficult ask and is applicable for anyone. His first real cricketing experience was though giving a trial in Douglas Cricket grounds in Kolkata and selected as a fast bowler during 2006. The cricket club was once run by father of former Indian Cricket Team captain Sourav Ganguly. Some of his cricketing pictures and videos are available here.

Below are some photos from his matches and practice sessions along with his records.

This is from one of the training session conduted for 12 holes at the very beautiful course Peacock Course at Delhi Golf Club. Below are links to some of the photos from the various sessions.

Chess

Shouvik used to play chess in his early days and used to practice in Barisha Netaji Sangha by then. The coach in the academy was a relative to Dibyendu Barua who is a grandmaster from West Bengal. He was awarded a best player of club award during that phase in a state level U-16 competition. He had also the honour to meet Vishwanathan Anand from his school during those days along with being the best player in the game among his school and college mates.

Below are some certificates received in chess and karate.
